Face the Future
Humanities in 21st Century Technology
Alabama Humanities Foundation (AHF) and C.M. Draughon Center for Arts & Humanities are co-sponsoring a Humanities Leadership Summit on September 14-15, 2008, to bring together cultural leaders to discuss the humanities in 21st century technology. The purpose of the Summit will be to gain knowledge of technology and to build new relationships for future partnerships.
What is tech for my organization? How does an individual institution use technology for e-marketing, development, education and social networking? How may technology be used in collaboration with other cultural organizations? How does virtual space change the experience of actual space, virtual knowledge change the reading of a book, or human dialogue change individual awareness?
Find answers to these questions and more. Explore how we read, discuss and learn about the humanities through technology at the 2008 Humanities Leadership Summit.
