Kathleen Thompson, M.F.A. in fiction and poetry, and writer and editor

Kathleen Thompson holds a B.S. from the University of Alabama and an M.F.A. a in writing from Spalding University. A former teacher of high-school English, she has an online editing business, wordforwordforword.com. Besides writing poetry, she has a significant body of prose, to include both a novel in manuscript form and a collection of short stories. Her essays, articles and short stories have been published in various literary magazines and journals. Two of her short stories are in Christmas is a Season! 2009 and in Muscadine Lines: A Southern Journal , first issue, 2010. Her current writing project is a series of linked short stories.
