Alabama Host Sites Chosen for the 2009 New Harmonies Tour
Museums on Main Street is bringing a traveling Smithsonian Exhibition to Alabama in 2009. New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music explores the roots of American music - telling the story of its people and culture through the melodies that define it. The exhibition provides a fascinating, inspiring and toe-tapping listen to the American story of multi-cultural exchange. It offers opportunities for communities to collect and celebrate their musical traditions.
AHF is proud to announce the Alabama sites that have been chosen to host the New Harmonies exhibition in 2009.
