Artist’s statement: “I have been an artist almost all of my life, and have been painting in encaustics for the last nine years. Encaustics are a waxbased medium using hot wax. I love to incorporate rich colors and mixed media. The depth of the color in the wax creates a feeling of the past and adds a rich mood to every piece.”
