Boo Radley House
Barbara Evans • Oil on canvas

Artist’s statement: “In To Kill a Mockingbird, the Radley house played a pivotal role, almost another character in the overall story of the Finch children. For Scout and Jem, the Radley house was the quintessential neighborhood haunt…and it harbored Boo, the subject of their apprehension and fears. And in the end the house harbored Boo…their salvation from the evil of Bob Ewell.”
