Beginning February 1, John E. Rochester assumed the role as Interim Executive Director at the Alabama Humanities Foundation. Recently retired as the Presiding Circuit Judge for Alabama's 40th Judicial Circuit, Judge Rochester resides in Ashland.

AHF ESTABLISHES ENDOWMENT FUND
At its October 28, 2011, board of directors meeting in Birmingham, the Alabama Humanities Foundation announced the establishment of the Alabama Humanities Endowment Fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.
