Kay Kimbrough of Mobile, is the founding president of Alliance Francaise and a member of the Mobile Symphony Guild and Le Salon , a discussion group. She is a Great Books leader at Mary B. Austin Public School and is the volunteer French teacher at the Mason School, sponsored by Dauphinway United Methodist Church, a community service for anyone who wants to enroll. Kimbrough is a retired University of South Alabama humanities instructor, where she taught freshman composition and Southern Culture. She served as a committee member for the Mobile Book of the Year since 2002.
